Consideration on the Conservation and Restoration of Local Temple Buildings:Case Study of Shuang-Gui-Tang in Chongqing Liangping County

This article is focus on some issues of conservation and restoration for the historic temple buildings based on a case study of Shuang-Gui-Tang Temple protection planning at Chongqing Liangping County. The local cultural diversity of the historic heritage,traditional architectural authenticity,integrity and conservation processes,as well as the maintenance treatment of painted surfaces on wood structure are discussed with further expatiation.
