Abstract:The recent status of several new technologies including Metal Plasma Immersion Ion Implantation and Deposition (MPIIID),Hydride coating,Powder coating,E-coating,Micro-arc alloying process for magnesium alloy surface modification were reviewed.The prospect of surface treatment for magnesium alloys is also analyzed.
