Abstract:The differences and similarities on criterion to piping stresses existed in ASME B31.1 and B31.3 were summarized in this article. For the engineers working in the field of piping stress analysis, it is necessary to familiarize the relevant codes, so that they can comply with the codes correctly and well and can support the piping design with safety and optimization.
