| Abstract: | In the paper,the main causes of damage in ceramic fibre lining serving at high temperatures are analyzed ,The internal causes are mullite crystal growth,sintering and thermal shrinkage of the fibres. The external causes are the corrosive effects of kiln atmosphere on fibres ,the method of installation also affects the ability of the fibre to withstand high temperatures. |
