An Approach to the Classification of Domain Models in Support of Reuse

We present in this article a classification of domain models in support of software reuse.It is hard to adopt the method of domain analysis which plays an important role in software reuse, especially to the new application domain.The classification method in software reuse supports domain analysis by providing an software model in an analogous domain.So classification of domain models is needed in order to achieve analogy.What we describe here is a combination of enumerative hierarchy and faceted scheme, which makes it more easy for a domain analyst to choose a similar domain for analyzing and modeling.
