摘    要:本文对泵浦掺铒光纤获得信号光增益的机理作了阐述,讨论了掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)的卓越放大特性及广泛的应用前景,并给出了一些产品的性能参数。

Abstract:This paper describes the mechanism to achieve the optical signal gain when Erbium-doped fiber is pumped optically. The excellent amplification properties of EDFA and its potential widespread applications are discussed, and the performance specifications of some products are also given in this paper.
