城市灯控平面交叉口机动车进出口车道的平衡

On Balance of Access Lanes for motor vehicle on urban traffic-light-controlled Intersection

Introduced hereby are the concept of balance of motor vehicle access lanes at the urban traffic-light-controlled intersection and the balance degree θ as the index for assessment,including the method of calculating the section capacity of the access lanes to obtain θ.Taking the cross at Taiping Rd(N) and Zhujiang Rd in Nanjing for example,θ is obtained through calculation with parameters from site survey,which shows that the access lanes there are generally in balance.This method of assessment can not only help find and solve problems in provision of the number of lanes at the intersection,but also provide evidence for building or rebuilding an intersection.
