摘    要:简要介绍了界面工程学的新概念“晶界设计和控制技术”,并以Fe6.5%Si合金为例,展示了这一技术的有效性和可操作性。对原始态快速凝固Fe-6.5%Si合金薄带的成功分析表明,作为晶界设计和控制强有力工具的EBSD分析技术在表征晶界结构方面具有独特的优势。采用适当的铸造、轧制或热处理工艺调整晶界的数量(晶粒尺寸)和特征分布,不仅能够明显改善Fe-6.5%Si合金的室温塑性,而且还有可能将这种典型的脆性多晶体改造成具有良好柔韧性的新材料。

Abstract:A new concept--grain boundary design and control,in the field of interfacial engineering is briefly introduced,while both the effectiveness and operability of this concept are demonstrated through an experimental example about Fe 6.5%Si alloy.The successful analysis of the as solidified Fe 6.5%Si alloy prepared by rapidly solidification shows that as a powerful tool of grain boundary design and control,EBSD technique is of unique superiority for the characterization of grain boundary structure.Both the quantity(grain size) and character distribution of grain boundary can be modified by means of proper casting,rolling and heat treatment,which not only can improve the room temperature ductility of Fe 6.5%Si alloy but also change this typical brittle polycrystal into a soft and ductile material.
