A well logging analog data acquisition based on PCI interface

The article introduces a kind of data acquisition system based on PCI bus which is used to acquire well logging analog data. All parts that realize analog signal acquisition are analyzed. In the hardware designing, complex programmable logic device (CPLD) is used to act as the main controller of acquisition in local bus. A universal PCI interface chip PCI9054 acts as the core communicator of computer and the acquisition system. The precision of the system is not less than 13 bits, and its control function is flexible, and can be extended easily.
