The Trial Production Practice of a New Top Blowing Furnace Project in Tongling

This paper introduces in detail the main smelting process of the new top blowing furnace project of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., as well as the technological characteristics of the four processes of batching,?pelletizing, smelting and water quenching. In view of the problems in the trial production of the new top blowing furnace, the corresponding improvement methods are put forward, which effectively stabilize the slag type, matte grade and smelting temperature of the top blowing furnace. Since the trial production of the project started on May 18, 2018, it has been running well with good quality, low investment, fast production, safety and environmental protection.
