An algorithm for solving the equations of monotone non-linear resistive networks

An algorithm related to the PQ theorem is given for solving the equations of a large class of monotone non-linear resistive networks. the algorithm converges to a solution whenever a solution exists, while it produces an unbounded sequence of iterates if there is no solution.
