Abstract: | Radio frequency (RF) induction heating is used in order to generate thermal waves in conducting materials. This technique is applied to measure the thickness of tungsten-carbide plasma coating on stainless-steel plates. The letter briefly discusses major advantages and disadvantages of RF induction heating. |
