Conjunctive use of surface water and groundwater on Leizhou Peninsula

Analysis was made on the present situation of water resources and the existing engineering water short?age problem on Leizhou Peninsula. Excessive exploiting of groundwater had led to ground setting, encroachment of sea water, more and more prominent contradiction between water supply and demand. The author demonstrated the necessity of conjunctive use surface water and groundwater, and discussed the potentialities and measures of con?junctive use on Leizhou Peninsula.
