| Abstract: | Specific characteristics of sulphuric acid corrosion to metal and basic principle of alloy design are discussed. The development and application of high-silicon stainless steel HD-1, spherical-granite casting alloy HD-3 for high-temperature concentrated sulphuric acid and high-Mo and-N austenitic stainless steel HD-7 for dilute sulfuric acid are described. |
