| Abstract: | Through the comparison of the most characteristics defensive residential houses, such as earth buildings in Fujian, enclosed-castledhouse in south of Jiangxi, Taoping Qiang stockade villages and Kaiping watchtowers in Guangdong, this article explores the similarities and differences between the defensive residential houses, so as to excavates the connotation of value and cultural characteristics of them. |
