| Abstract: | The behavior of nickel during the oxygen chloride leaching of the copper residue generated from selective acidic oxidation leaching of nickel matte was examined. The nickel in the copper residue can be leached effectively with oxygen at ambient pressure in the presence of chloride. The technological parameters of the leaching, including oxygen flow rate, concentrations of chloride and sulfuric acid, and temperature, were discussed. |
