| Abstract: | With an eye on problems concerning overheating of superheated steam and its bad steam quality, as well as concerning bamer nozzles liable to get burned and refractory belts liable to get slagged, the paper reports on the retrofit of the boiler proper, the combustion system and the piping system, wherewith the technical problems were solved and some energy saving results obtained.
