| 摘 要： | 随着多媒体技术应用的不断增加,人们对图像压缩技术也提出了更高的要求,JPEG2000正是为适应不断发展的图像压缩应用而出现的新的静止图像压缩编码标准。文章从JPEG2000的目标和基本特征出发,阐述了JPEG2000图像编码采用的基本压缩算法,并对这一新标准的特点及其优缺点进行了简单介绍。

| Abstract: | With the development of using the technology of multimedia, people make greater demands for the image compression technology. A new still image compression standard: JPEG2000 adapting to the increasing development of image compression application comes into being. In this paper, the basic compression algorithm used by JPEG2000 image coding is explouded from the view of the aims and basic character of JPEG2000, and its advantages and shortcomings are introduced. |
