QoS感知的副本放置问题研究综述

副本技术是分布式存储中的重要技术.与传统副本放置问题不同,QoS感知的副本放置关注单个访问请求的服务质量需求满足.介绍了QoS感知的副本放置问题出现的背景,归纳了系统的抽象模型与问题的定义,并逐一介绍了当前几种较好的算法.通过自行设计和实现的副本放置模拟器,对现有算法进行了定性和定量分析,讨论了算法的优劣性,并指出进一步研究需要关注的问题.

A Survey for QoS-Aware Replica Placement Problem

QoS-aware replica placement problem(QRPP)concerns with fulfilling the QoS requirement of individual request.It is much different from the traditional problem which concerns about average performance metrics.The background of QRPP is introduced firstly.Then system model and definition of QRPP are also discussed.Existing solutions are described and analyzed in detail.Additionally,a self-designed-and-realized replica placement simulator is specially developed to compare with different algorithms both qualitatively and quantitatively.Finally,some research issues for further study are pointed out.
