Analysis on Finishing Mill Roller Housing Fault at High Speed Wire Rod Mill and Controlling Measures

The author analyzes the causes for the faults such as oil film bearing failure and water penetration into roller housing at finishing mill at high speed wire rod mill. Measures of standardizing operation, monitoring and controlling the utilization of lubrication system fluid and enhancing the routine maintenance of roller housing sealing system are taken to effectively prolong equipment service life, reduce production cost, improve economic benefits and ensure the normal production of rolling line.
