| 摘 要： | 小波变换具有良好的空间-频率局部化特性,给图像编码算法提供了广阔的发展空间。嵌入式图像编码算法能很好地满足图像编码的新要求,因此也成为了静态图像编码新标准JPEG2000的基础。对基于小波变换的嵌入式图像编码方法进行了研究,分析比较了几种典型的编码算法的原理和编码性能,指出了改进方案和适用性,探讨了小波图像压缩研究的发展方向。

| Abstract: | Wavelet transform affords wide space for image coding algorithms because of its excellent space-frequency localization characterizations.The embedded image coding methods meet some new requirements on image coding,so they have laid the foundation for the new still image compression standard JPEG2000.This paper discusses wavelet-transform-based embedded image coding methods.The principles and performances of representative algorithms are analyzed,and the improved schemes and applicability are pointed out,and then this paper discusses their development in future. |
