| 摘 要： | 讨论了一种基于人类视觉特性的自适应图像编码算法，该算法在ＪＰＥＧ基础上采用视觉门限编码、自适应扫描技术．仿真结果表明，在高压缩率的情况下，无论从编码性能，还是从视觉感官上，该算法效果均优越于ＪＰＥＧ．

| Abstract: | This paper presents an adaptive algorithm for image compression based on Human Visual System(HVS). The technique improves the JPEG algorithm. Simulation results showed that the algorithm was better than JPEG in encoding performance at high bit rate. |
