Operating Techniqu of side cutter Ring on Hob of Tunnel Machine

The writers summarize wear rule of cutter and cutter replacement rule through practical construction woth of tunnel Qinling Line I with TBM. In onler to improve wear of cutter and to ease cutter replacement during construction, also to reduce wear and tear of cutter,to decrease the time for cutter replacement and to develop the advantage of TBM, the writers study and try to install side cutter ring at high cutter position. It proves that it can wear raionally.
