It is an important strategy to speed up the development of new energy auto industry. It is a way to change the way of economic development. At present, there is rare research on the development of new energy vehicles industry. The trend of pa- tent applications, technology life cycle, technology development trend, major competitors, and global patent area layout were dis- cussed. And the corresponding conclusions were formed and recommendations were proposed. It will further promote the develop- ment of new energy vehicles in China.
