从跨文化交际的角度看英语圣经术语的汉译

圣经既是一部文化经典,也是一部宗教经典,在西方社会产生了深远的影响。然而,圣经西方"洋味"的特性让许多中国人甚至是信奉圣经的人们很难理解,也给国内翻译工作者们在圣经术语的翻译上带来困难,在一定程度上阻碍了圣经知识的传播。因此,本文从跨文化交际的角度,着重对圣经术语进行分类,并对圣经术语的汉译进行尝试性的探索。尤其从词汇层面探讨如何得体地处理圣经术语汉译中的词汇空缺现象。在翻译圣经术语时,充分考虑到文化因素对翻译的影响,以达到翻译"意义相符"、"功能相似"的目的,从而促进中西文化交流。

On E-C Translation of The Biblical Term From the Perspective of Intercultural Communication

The Bible,culture classic as well as the religious classic,has exerted profound and far reaching influence on the Western society.However,those characteristics which make The Bible somewhat of a ＂special,western product＂ also make it very difficult not only for Chinese Christian to understand,but also for interpreters at home to translate the terms into other languages.The inadequacy of C/E translation of The Bible terms hinders the dissemination of The Bible.Therefore,this article tries to probe into the C/E translation of The Bible terms on its classification level through the approach of intercultural communication.It emphasizes on how to deal with the vacancy of the words in the terms translation.Furthermore,the cultural obstacles should be taken into consideration abundantly in The Bible term translation,thus achieving correspondence in meaning and similarity in function.and promoting the cultural communication between Chinese and English.
