Abstract:The third generation mobile communication system(3G) is a global coverage with the use of the network system,it provides high quality multimedia communication,and it not only supports the traditional voice and data services,also supports the interactive service and distributed services,such as multimedia services,electronic commerce,electronic commerce,Internet banking,and Internet services and other information services.That way all the confidential,sensitive,the privacy of the data transmission quantity will increase greatly,this new business environment for network security system has put forward higher requirements.Therefore,the 3G system besides the traditional voice,data security,also should be able to provide new business to provide the appropriate security features.This paper we elaborated the 3G system security architecture,The detail of the 3G system authentication and key agreement mechanism,and It points out the mechanism in the security loopholes.And we give the solution.At the end of the 3G system authentication and key agreement algorithm design is introduced in this paper.
