| Abstract: | The failures occurred in the bellow mechanical seal of phthalic anhydride pump during operation were analyzed. Some points of nationalized modification on material selection, structure and manufacture of bellows and design of the face pressure were proposed, which prolong the working life of the mechanical seal. |
