| Abstract: | The preparation of one-dimension magnetic nanowire arrays by porous anodic alumina templates, including sol-gel method, chemical deposition method and electrochemical deposition method etc, was reviewed. The application prospects of magnetic nanowires for magnetic recording, giant magnetoresistance, quantum disk and magnetic memory were discussed. |
