| Abstract: | This paper presents a scalable, network independent approach to safety network design, where the safety services are described in a well defined layer, allowing the network to be changed without impacting the user＇s approach to safety. This approach also enables the routing of safety data, allowing the user to create end-to-end safety chains across multiple links. |
