小波变换在遥感影像压缩中的应用

摘    要:解决海量遥感影像存储和传输问题的有效方法是对影像进行保真快速压缩.本文对基于小波变换的遥感影像压缩技术进行深入探讨,并通过与其他图像压缩算法相比较,比较全面地揭示出小波压缩算法的特点及其在遥感影像压缩中的应用.

Abstract:One of the efficient solutions for data transmission and storage of huge remote sensing images is the high fidelity and rapid compression.This paper discusses the algorithm of wavelet image compression.Compared with other image compression algorithms,experimental results show that wavelet image compression is superior to LZW and JPEG in high compression ratio and high image quality,and is widely used in the field of remote sensing and geography information system.
