THERMAL STRESSES IN MICROSTRETCH ELASTIC CYLINDERS

The present paper is concerned with the problem of thermal stresses in isotropic microstretch elastic cylinders. The temperature distribution is assumed to be a general polynomial in the axial coordinate. As in classical theory, the problem is reduced to solving the plane strain problem.
