Study of The Pin Rotor in An Internal Mixer

The comparative tests of the pinrotor with conventional two blade rotor in a domestic internal mixer were reported. The determination of the test plan and test parameters, particularly the results of the tests were discussed in detail. Many advantages of the pin rotor, such as the fine quality of mixture, high efficiency, low consume of energy and good suitabulity were summerized. Funthermore, two methods of determining the optimal mixing time were mentioned.
