多孔二氧化硅块材的制备

摘    要:采用胶体成型法用聚合性二氧化硅溶胶和二氧化硅粉制备多孔二氧化硅块材,研究了溶胶浓度、粘结剂PVA用量、二氧化硅粉的氨水预处理对二氧化硅块材的影响。用XRD分析二氧化硅凝胶及二氧化硅粉的物相随焙烧温度的变化,采用阿基米得排水法测孔隙率,利用扫描电镜观察多孔二氧化硅块材的微结构。研究发现,二氧化硅块材的孔隙率随溶胶浓度的增加而下降,加入适量的PVA可有效地防止坯体在干燥过程中出现裂纹,用氨水对二氧化硅粉预处理使块材的强度有所提高。

Abstract:Porous silica monoliths were prepared from polymeric silica sols and silica powder by gel-casting method. The influence of the concentration of silica sol, the amount of PVA as binder and pretreatment of silica powder with NH4OH on the resulting silica monolith was investigated. XRD was employed to analyze the phase of silica gels and silica powder calcined at different temperatures. The porosity was measured using Archimedes method. The microstructure of porous silica monoliths was observed by SEM. It is found that the porosity of silica monoliths decreases with the concentration of silica sols increasing. Appropriate amount of PVA can prevent cracks in the compact during drying. The pretreatment of silica powder with NH4OH improves the mechanical strength in some extent.
