| Abstract: | The distortion of parts resulting from nitriding is related to various factors,such as penetration of nitrogen atom,residual stress,conditioning heat treatment process,nitriding practice,complexity of configuration of part,loading pattern,etc.The measures to minimize the distortion of part resulting from nitriding were illustrated with examples. |
