Abstract:The surface waviness of stamping and forming of automobile plates has an important influence on the vividness of parts after painting, and the vividness directly reflects the appearance quality of automobiles. In order to clarify the influencing factors of waviness, and to measure accurate and reliable test data, the BUP1000 sheet comprehensive forming test machine was used for mug stamping of the typical automobile outer panel. The influences of factors, including the deformation amount, sample surface detection direction and sample stamping speed, on the surface waviness of the sample were analyzed based on gom online strain measurement system. The results showed that the waviness results almost linearly increased with the increase of deformation amount of the specimen surface after stamping. There was no obvious law in the change of surface waviness when the stamping speed was 0.5~3 mm/s, indicating that the stamping speed had little influence on the surface waviness. The test results of rolling direction and transverse direction showed that the longitudinal waviness was slightly lower than the transverse waviness.
