University laboratory is an important base for teaching, scientific research, social studies. It is also the most critical practical place. Because the current technology development presents high speed processes, integrated components, rationalized results, and multiplex scenarios, it is very important for the opening laboratory to enhance the overall architecture design level, to strengthen the laboratory management, to focus the innovation, to provide the community various practicing and innovation opportunities, and to serve in the community information network. This article walks through the foundation of building an open laboratory platform and discusses the best approaches to build the urban innovated information network system.
