RELATION OF STRUCTURE AND BENDING PROPERTY OF FABRICS

摘    要:Simple mechanical models of fabric and yarns during fabric bending have been built tosimulate the bending performance or the fabric. On these models, the relation between fab-ric bending modulus and structure parameters is discussed, and a theoretical equation isgiven to describe this relation. Experiments have been arranged to measure fabric bendingmodulus and structure parameters. It is found that the equation gives out rather satisfiedresults and can be used in practice after certain modification.
