| Abstract: | In the terrorist attacks and explosion events,flying and falling glass shards from the windows of buildings should cause a major hazard to occupants,and researchers are focusing on the anti-blast performance and protective design of the glass curtain wall.Based on a lot of research data for anti-blast and protection of glass curtain walls,the design goal of the anti-blast and protection of glass curtain wall is expounded,and the minimum standoff distances are given.From perimeter control,natural abilities to withstand blast load,anti-shatter film system and cable catcher system,the methods of anti-blast protective design of glass curtain wall are explained.And it is significant to understand and master the methods of anti-blast design and strengthening of glass curtain wall,and also,to lucubrate on anti-blast design and strengthening of glass curtain wall. |
