| Abstract: | This essay describes the devel-opment of synchronous digital networks(SDNs) both in China and abroad, point-ing out the respective special features ofdomestic and foreign SDNs and the rea-sons behind them. It also gives a relativelydetailed introduction to the framework ofthe country's SDN for the railway and pre-sents the author's view concerning the de-velopment of China's SDNs. |
