Abstract:Based on the review of the study results of damping capacity of metal matrix composites(MMCs) ,the possible ways of developing a new kind of MMCs with high damping capacity was discussed.The effective measures were to use the high damping metal matrices,the high damping reinforcements and to design the high damping interface layers when the MMCs were fabricated.
