Real-time Control of Broadband RF Targets Simulating System Realized by Arrays

Broadband RF array target simulating system is a semi hardware simulating system which reproduces the electromagnetic environment, target and interference of radar operation. It is an important method of weapon system development. In this paper, the basic principle of radar target simulating system and some key problems of the real time broadband simulating system are introduced, and a method of how to control phase shifters and attenuators in the system in real time is described, so as to simulate target accurately.
