Empirical Analysis and Skill Discussion on Contrctor''''s Counterclaim

This paper analyzes contrctor's counterclaim of an unsuccessful case of a hydropower station project as well as a successful case of a bridge project in one South Asia Country. In combination of the author's practical experience, it discusses the skills of engineering counterclaim such as rationally creating claim opportunity, rationally reckoning claim indemnity, offering claim demand in time, deliberately compiling claim report, providing sufficient claim evidences, demanding compensation in reason and moderation, timely declaration and monthly balancing.
