X-RAY SPECTROSCOPIC CHARACTERISTICS OF DIAMOND AND ITS ASSOCIATED MINERALS AND APPLICATION OF COLOR FILTER IN X-RAY SELECTION

On the basis of study on X-ray spectroscopiccharacteristics of diamond and its associated miner-als,this paper,according to the difference betweenthe two spectroscopic peak value bands and lighten-ing intensities,explores the probability of introduc-ing colour filter to attenuate the spectroscopic peakbands of associated minerals and enhance the reso-lution of diamond X-ray selection,and comparative-ly analyses,through experiment,the different selec-tion effects produced by using different kinds ofcolour filters,finally deciding Chinese-built QB_4colour filter as the optimum selection colour filterin diamond X-ray selection.
