| Abstract: | A mathematical model called MATHCAD2001 for the design of segment conductors in plastic insulated power cables and press roll is presented on the basis of systematical studies on the design of segment conductors. Examples are given for standard design. It has been proved by practice that this method is fast and easy to use so is a useful tool. |
