Abstract:The effects of ultrasonic radiation on production of Monacolin K by Monascus sp. were studied. The culture medium by Monascus sp. was irratiated by ultrasonic wave with 20?kHz 200?W/cm 2. The result showed that production of Monacolin K of Monascus sp. increased obviously when culture medium was radiated for two minutes every other eight hours.
