STRIVE FOR DEVELOPMNT AND BENEFIT THROUGH REFORMING PROCESS

The achievement of Shanghai iron and steel industry during 45 years sinceLiberation was summarized, especially the present status and inadequte points of technology,process and equipment, the target of development were described. It is pointed out that the general level of Shanghai iron and steel industry can be raised only by taking the policy of reforming and opening to the world, the old enterprises can fresh with vigor and be ranged into modern iron and steel industry ranks by increasing the economic benefit and speeding up tech-nical renovation.
