| 摘 要： | 本文证明了图像增强中平坦的直方图是一些合理假定的必然结果,这些假定包括灰度值被拉伸的程度应该和它在图像中出现的次数（直方图）相联系,灰度值出现的次数越多,就应该被拉伸得越厉害;图像被增强之后如果再进行一次增强应保持不变。教学实践表明,这样引入直方图均衡化易于理解,有启发性。

| Abstract: | It is proved that in image enhancement the uniform histogram is the consequence of some reasonable assumptions,which include that the degree to which the gray level is stretched should be related to the frequency of its occurrence（histogram）,i.e.the more the number of pixels with a gray level,the more this gray level is stretched.If the enhanced image is enhanced once more,it should remain unchanged.It has been shown in teaching practice that in this way the technique of histogram equalization can be understood more easily and heuristically. |
