| Abstract: | This paper introduced the optimum composition and properties of the core sand binded with the modified sodium silicate binder 4 # which is used as a substitution for the core sand binded with distillation residue synthetic fatty acid and may substitute for resin binded sand in hot box.The mechainsm of the modification of the binder 4 #is discussed also. |
