Abstract:With the continuous progress of 5G construction and the compression of 4G construction investment, 4G demand is still strong in special scene areas in the 4/5G transition period, so it is urgent to tap the potential of 4G network resources. This paper proposes a scenario based 4G base station resource allocation optimization scheme. For complex networking, the base stations in the whole network are classified according to different scenarios, and the idle cell judgment criteria are given for each scenario. The load evaluation of the idle base station is discussed. On the premise of ensuring user perception, we should revitalize the existing network resources, meet the new coverage and capacity requirements, effectively save the construction cost and maintenance cost, and improve the investment efficiency and resource utilization.
