| Abstract: | This paper discribes the damages due to flow-induced vibration in shell and tube heat exchangers, introduces excitation mechanisms and predication methods for the vibration,lists and analyses the predicated results to three heat exchangers,discusses major factors influencing the vibration,and also makes abrief assessment for these predication methods. |
